CAMPAIGN OVERVIEW

ONE-MAN PUNK BAND.

BOSS CASS is the Southwest’s ONE-MAN PUNK BAND.

FFO: Beastie Boys, Soft Play, Kid Kapichi.

It’s PUNK MUSIC for people who DON’T LIKE PUNK MUSIC.

This silly little project has been firmly riding on a wave of PRAISE and local SUPPORT since it’s explosion onto the Southwest scene in early 2022. The consistently HIGH OCTANE and INFECTIOUSLY ENTERTAINING live shows performed by OLLIE ANDREWS managed to capture the hearts of his community and helped towards building a truly ORGANIC FOLLOWING with only some guitars, a ghetto blaster and mic.

Since the live launch, Boss Cass has played over 180 LIVE SHOWS on a purely DIY basis. No management, no label, no booking agents and absolutely zero messing about. These shows included appearances at GLASTONBURY 2023 and BOARDMASTERS 2022 & ‘23 (both RE-BOOKING FOR 2024), and supporting TOM MEIGHAN on his warm up show in Falmouth Princess Pavillion.

Cass’ 2026 ROADMAP is looking promising as he is beginning to build his team and take a more strategic approach, helping him push through to the next level of the circuit. Having officially joined the ‘ATTITUDE ARTISTS’ live roster in 2025, and armed with a string of PLANNED RELEASES for 2026, it seems like we are heading towards a big era of change for this short-king twenty-something.

‘No Play’ is a SHARP, CHEEKY COMMENTARY on the UK’s spiraling retirement age and the exhausting cycle of "work, play, can't pay." Blending biting sarcasm with a massive, DRIVING BASSLINE, the track delivers a classic Boss Cass anthem for the overworked and underappreciated.

The single draws direct inspiration from Cass’s childhood nights spent at the local social club. “Sneaking a few dibs at my dad’s bingo card while nobody was looking felt electric,” Cass recalls. “I never won anything, mind!” ‘No Play’ pays homage to those memories, weaving bingo slang and tongue in cheek playfulness throughout the lyrics. This connection runs deep, Cass even returned to the same social club to film the track’s official music video.

With a fresh strategy and a blistering 2026 tour schedule on the horizon, ‘No Play’ is the breath of fresh air we need as we make our way into spring.
